Hey guys! No, this is not an outfit post. I wanted to write a personal post about my personal life, and what I would like to continue doing with this blog. I just turned 23 this week, which is why I have not posted recently because I have been spending time with friends and family. Summer has been zooming by but I hope to be able to do as much as I can before I go back to being a second year full-time graduate student. Thank you to those who have been sticking around and following my blog! It really makes me happy to know there are people like you who appreciate and read my blog. I know there are tons of blogs out there just like mine but I am just doing what I love. Aetherlily has given me a creative outlet and something to do during my spare time. Yet at the same time, I want it to be a place where I can share my thoughts and communicate with you guys out there. I feel like I have lost some of that after the first year I began this blog.
Therefore, I wanted to take the time to make this post and hear your opinions and thoughts. Just post in the comments section of this post or hashtag #aetherlilychat on Twitter! I will reply back to you guys so we can get a conversation going. It can be about anything! I have been on a make-up shopping spree because I have been so into make-up lately. Let me know your recommendations! The products pictured above are some of my recent purchases that I currently use. They are mostly drugstore brands or from Sephora because I need to stay affordable. I actually went over my budget because I was trying to save money for my trip to Greece next month! So excited. Have any of you been there before? I also just made a Youtube account because I wanted to expand my posts via video whether its my outfits, make-up, DIY projects, and especially travels. I love travelling and I want to be able to share my experiences and tips I learn along the way with you all. You can check out my Intro video I just posted a couple days ago or watch below!
