After my visit to Trina Turk (post here), I headed over to Lord & Taylor because they were having an event on the second floor. Lord & Taylor along with Refinery29 curated a showcase of designers of contemporary women's apparel called Brand Assembly. Some of my favorites were the dresses and skirts by Priory of Ten and bags by Etelka. There were tons of people there as well as a DJ, a runway show (which I missed), free drinks, and mini make-overs with Laura Mercier (love her tinted moisturizer). I love how eventful NYFW is and how you get to see everyone dressed up. I could not stay for very long at this event because I had to run to the next show I was attending. The week becomes very hectic and everyone is usually running all over the place but if you ever get the chance to be a part of NYFW, definitely take the opportunity to experience it.
