I can honestly say that I would get bored of just a day without my electronics. Especially when I spend a whole day out and I have no wall outlet conveniently beside me in order to charge my dying phone, laptop, or iPad. Luckily, I was introduced to Lumsing's portable backup charger which practically lets me charge anything with a USB cable (iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Note, HTC One, iPad, Droid, Google Glass, Nexus, Smart Watch, Bluetooth Speakers, & more).
LUMSING PORTABLE BACKUP CHARGER (C/O) - This backup charger allows you to charge two devices at the same time! However, it is not advised to use your device while using this backup charger because it will not charge because you would technically be using the power it is charging. With the Lumsing portable backup charger, you can get up to 4-6 chargers without using a wall outlet. This comes in handy for long plane flights, when all your friends are using all the wall outlets, or when there is a power outage. On the side of the backup charger there are 4 LED indicators that let you know the battery level. The backup charger also comes with a cloth pouch to store it in and one USB cable. The AC charger is not included. The price is considerably decent and has a lot of good review on Amazon. What I like most about this back-up charger is that once your device is fully charged, the back-up charger will shut off on its own so you don't have to worry about overcharging your device. Overall, I really like this backup charger and would recommend it to anyone who constantly runs out of their device's battery power.

WEARING: KRISTIN PERRY NECKLACE (C/O) + LYSSE DRESS SHIRT (C/O) + LYSSE IKAT PRINT LEGGINGS (C/O) + SKECHERS LACE-UP BOOTS (C/O)
Photography by Dillon.
Autumn begins this week so I thought this would be the perfect time for more coverage and to bring out the boots. I love these pieces from Lysse because they hug your body and are great quality. You can find petite sizes if you shop on their website! Their x-small fits me well and I think I could have gone with just a Small instead (some places that carry XS are actually still big for me). I paired this outfit with my latest pair of boots from Skechers fall collection. And if you like the jewelry I am wearing, you can find them on kristin perry. Don't forget to use the code IMGORGEOUS for 10% off.
I usually buy my own face and make-up products but when I received an email to try out Neutrogena's Pink grapefruit line, I could not resist! I have been wanting to try them out and I always see their products at my local drugstore but I wanted to wait until I was finished with the current products I already use (don't want them going to waste). When I received my Neutrogena products, I was utterly surprised because I thought they were only sending me one product but it turned out that I got to try five of them!
I am not sure if you guys ever notice but I have acne-prone skin as well as acne scars. I have been battling with acne ever since I hit puberty but it has become a lot better because I take care of my skin. Sometimes I feel that I have such a long routine in the morning because of all the products I need to use but I know it is worth it in the end. Not only do I have acne-prone skin, but also sensitive and oily skin. This is why I am so excited to share this review with you all. Neutrogena helps treat unseen acne before they appear so you and myself can take our best selfies! Now the first important note you need to know about these products are that they all contain salicylic acid which is used to treat acne and grapefruit extract (for those of you who are highly allergic to fruits) so if you are allergic to that, do NOT use these products. If you do have a reaction even if you are not allergic, please discontinue use as it may be the formula that your skin does not agree with. Neutrogena notes that if you use other topical medications at the same time with their products, it may cause skin irritation or dryness so only use one medication at a time.
So far the products have been great on my skin. I have not felt any harshness or tingling from using them. However, I did have a red spot by my mouth after using the facial scrub and I am not sure if it is because I am mildly allergic to fruits (e.g. I have also tried making a DIY lemon scrub and it made me itchy), especially acidic ones. After about half an hour though, the red spot disappeared. I have not had any other reactions after using the products again so the cause is not completely known.
OIL-FREE ACNE WASH FOAMING SCRUB (C/O) - I love scrubs because you can feel your skin exfoliating as you gently massage it around your face. Once you rinse your face with water, it immediately foams before all the product is washed off. I know exfoliating may cause some people to have breakouts, especially if you have dry skin so I feel that this is a product suitable for oily skin like mine. After just 2-3 days, my skin felt smoother than before I used it. The only downside to this product is that it does contain polyethylene (plastic) because of the microbeads for those who are environment conscious. I recommend using a moisturizer after as it may make your skin slightly dry.
OIL-FREE ACNE WASH FACIAL CLEANSER (C/O) - This is probably my favorite out of all the pink grapefruit line products. It applies onto the skip very smoothly and using a little goes a long way. I use it every morning and night before and after applying make-up and it does a great job removing it. If one wash with it is not enough, the second will do the trick. I find this product best for those with oily skin as it may make your face feel tight and dry more than the foaming scrub does so make sure to apply moisturizer after using this.
BODY CLEAR BODY WASH (C/O) - This product is great for those who develop acne around their neck, chest, shoulder, or back. It also contains beads but they burst when used. I like this product because it is gentle on the skin and I have had none to very few breakouts since using it.
OIL-FREE ACNE WASH CREAM CLEANSER (C/O) - I have only used this product a few times because I prefer the facial cleanser for my type of skin but I believe this is more suitable for those with dry skin. Moreover, since this is a cream cleanser, it prevents your face from drying out as much because its purpose is to restore the moisture back into your skin. However, be careful when using this product as you should avoid the sun or otherwise avoid using it a day or two before you plan to stay out in the sun for several hours.
OIL-FREE CLEANSING WIPES FOR ACNE-PRONE SKIN (C/O) - These wipes are great when you are unable to wash your face. I had on a full face of make-up when I used this product and it wiped it all off. However, it may make your face tingle or burn slightly for a few seconds after using if you have sensitive skin. I do not use these often, only when I need to.
These products range from $6-9 which is pretty cheap compared to other brands and for the amount of product you are receiving. They all have a nice grapefruit scent that is not too strong. These products are best suitable for those with acne-prone skin. Treating acne is not an overnight thing so give it some time and before you know it, you will be treating unseen acne and will have a clearer complexion!

Fashion week is officially over! The last show of the evening that I saw last Thursday on 9/4/14 was the S/S 2015 collection of Meskita at the Theatre in Lincoln Center for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. This collection was new to me because it was the first time I heard of Meskita so I did some research and found out that the line was by Alessandra Meskita, a Brazilian fashion designer. Most of her lines consist of resort, swimwear, and lingerie. With that in mind, I had an idea of what to expect at the show.
After seeing the collection, I am now a fan of Alessandra's designs. I was very impressed with the collection because all the pieces were beautiful. The models all came out with half ponytails and open-toed strapped heels. The collection consisted of light shades and neutral tones with gold accents everywhere. Pleats continue to be a popular trend for skirts and maxi dresses, but also for outerwear. High-waisted knickers and crop tops also are a consistent trend to do not get rid of them yet from your wardrobes! Meskita was a wonderful show to end the night and I am looking forward to see what Alessandra has in store for the following season. Thank you for having me!

After my visit to Trina Turk (post here), I headed over to Lord & Taylor because they were having an event on the second floor. Lord & Taylor along with Refinery29 curated a showcase of designers of contemporary women's apparel called Brand Assembly. Some of my favorites were the dresses and skirts by Priory of Ten and bags by Etelka. There were tons of people there as well as a DJ, a runway show (which I missed), free drinks, and mini make-overs with Laura Mercier (love her tinted moisturizer). I love how eventful NYFW is and how you get to see everyone dressed up. I could not stay for very long at this event because I had to run to the next show I was attending. The week becomes very hectic and everyone is usually running all over the place but if you ever get the chance to be a part of NYFW, definitely take the opportunity to experience it. Thank you to Renee for inviting me!

The Mykonos Beach Hotel sticks to their name because the Megali Ammos beach is right across the street. Their location is very peaceful because it is a slight distance from the town and party scene. The environment is very different from Athens, which was more city-like, and there are no hotel floors. Instead, there are these mini caverns beside the lobby which are the rooms. The rooms decorated very simply with white walls and wooden furniture. The view is beautiful as you can see the sea and the windmills. You can either sit on your balcony/patio if included in your booking or sit at the lounge/lobby area where there is free wi-fi. The reception desk is open 24 hours and you leave your key with the receptionist whenever you leave the hotel. The rooms are cleaned and towels are changed daily. My room had the twin beds on the ground floor and the queen bed on the loft as I was there with my family. There was tiny TV in the room if you like to watch during your spare time and also a stove but I never used it because I always ate out and I actually did not know how to turn it on. What I liked about this hotel is that they included free shuttle transportation when I arrived and when I left. If you are traveling by car or motorcycle, there is space in front of the lobby to park.

I would also like to thank the hotel for my pleasant stay. If you would like to learn about my adventures and travel guide in Mykonos, stay tuned!

My first stop last Thursday at New York Fashion Week was the Trina Turk launch party for their bags. The Trina Turk boutique is located at 67 Gansevoort Street if you would ever like to give them a visit. They offered some champagne, small bites, and a free Bag Borrow or Steal + Trina Turk gift bag to the first 50 guests. They also had a raffle to win one of their bags and of course I had to enter. My favorite bag though was their Sidecar crossbody leather bags. I also loved their floral print dresses and animal print shoes. I also had the opportunity to meet the lovely designer, Trina. Thank you for having me! She wore pieces from her line such as the Larell shorts, which I liked. Looks like Bermuda shorts are making a comeback!

New York Fashion Week is here! Despite the start of the school semester, I was lucky enough to have some time to visit the city yesterday and I coincidentally also had a line up of events to attend. I was so excited and my parents were kind enough to come along with me. My dad was the driver so if you are reading this, thank you so much for driving me around and waiting patiently! I was able to have my mom tag along and take photos of me so thank you too! I wore a mix of old and new pieces if you did not already know and have not seen my old outfit posts. I always feel like black is the best color for me to wear when I am heading to events. The outfit I wore consists of some of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. The bag is a new piece I brought home from Paris and there will be plenty more photos with it in future outfit posts!
I will also have photos of the events I attended in another post because it would have been too much in this one post so stick around! Thanks for reading. =)
