Yesterday I joined my sister in New York because she had an event to attend at Javits Center. I do not see my sister often because she is usually away at school until summer or winter break comes around. I had a fun time at the show because it gave me a glimpse of the industry my sister would be working in once she graduates. It was a hot day and finding a suitable business casual attire was somewhat challenging. I wanted to try something new by wearing pink. I surprisingly do not have many shades of pink in my wardrobe despite the fact that I actually like the color. It is a very feminine color and I think it works well if it is combined with white or pastels. The type of lace top I am wearing may come off too casual or inappropriate to in order to make it more suitable, I wore my favorite blazer. Then I brought my handy vintage coach bag handed down to me from my mom so I could stash all my necessities without having to carry my belongings by hand.

Although I am no longer 21 anymore, I find it very difficult to stop myself from shopping at Forever 21. It is just so easy to buy apparel from them because they are cheap, sell clothes that fit my petite stature, and have a huge selection. I am not trying to speak negatively about the store because I believe they are always in trend and know how to appeal to customers. For example, I am in love with these flats. I would totally buy another pair if I had not promised myself that I would limit my shopping. However, I want to move on but I think until I graduate and obtain an actual job, I will forever be a Forever 21 buyer. How about yourselves? Do you still shop there despite getting older?
