Plunging Necklines for the Summer

I am officially a 24-year old! Although I already celebrated my birthday over the weekend, today is my official birthday. July is seriously speeding by way too fast. Before you know it, summer is already over here in the northeast. Even though my summer classes are over, I have been occupied with my internship, weekend events, research, volunteer service, and this blog. There are many other things I want to do as well but when I do find that extra time, all I want to do is rest because I become so exhausted. I am not complaining though because I do feel that I have accomplished a lot. Hope you all are enjoying your summer!

I was a bit hesitant when this plunging neck romper from Rosegal arrived in the mail because I realized that it might not suit me as much as it did on the model when I was looking at it on the website. Surprisingly, I think I was able to pull it off in these photos. What do you think? What I love the most about this romper is how it criss-crosses in the back and wraps around the waist. I have been pretty minimal when it comes to jewelry but if there is one thing that I have to put on, it's a necklace. To simply decorate the romper, I wore this filigree design necklace from Michael Hill.
