Waiting for Warmer Days

I know I always talk about how fast the months pass by but seriously. It is already the March and I only managed to make one post in the month of February?! Haha oh well, sometimes life takes priority. This is a special year for us with the wedding coming up towards the end of the year. I have been working on upcoming posts besides this one the past couple of days though and I am excited to share more soon!

It has been a long time since Dillon and I last took outfit photos. I do not prioritize them as much as I used to. Nowadays, we go out and I never even think to take photos compared to a few years ago when I would take outfit photos any chance I get. I may go back to my self-shoot-with-a-timer days while I am indoors. It is just difficult getting good lighting in the house and I got so spoiled with someone always taking my photos for me. Anyways, I asked him if we could take a few while we were out grabbing lunch. We went to a popular deli spot near us and bought take-out sandwiches because we wanted to head back home right after since Dillon now works night shifts and needs to get his sleep. The sandwiches were good and hit the spot. I got one sandwich and he got two haha. We agreed that it felt nice getting out of the house for a little while to get some fresh air. It has been hard planning things to do since we have completely opposite schedules so it was nice going out to do something together. It is temporary though. We may do the same thing next weekend - head out for one meal - but explore another local food spot. This helps us stick to a budget yet still having something to look forward to at the end of a long week.

What I Am Wearing: I am so ready for spring. It reached 80 degrees for one day last week and then it went back down to the 40s and 50s so I have not been able to put away my winter clothes yet. To keep myself warm, I have a ton of sweaters on rotate including this one. I recently bought a ton of sweaters from H&M because they had several sales going on that I could not resist. They are so easy to just pull on and wear with a skirt or slacks before I head to work. Luckily the sweaters are warm enough to not wear a thick jacket, but still too chilly to go bare legged. Coincidentally, my outerwear matches in color with my top and bottom. What are your favorite types of apparel you like to wear during the winter? Let me know in the comments below!
