Experimenting With Spring Pieces

Finally taking out some of my spring pieces and trying them on indoors (can you spot Maisie). For years, I would always pick out what I would wear to work, to an event, or get together the night before. It was a way for me to feel less pressure about figuring out what to wear because I take forever to choose and prevented me from being late to work. Since I have been at home due to unemployment, I have had plenty of time in the morning to figure out my outfits for the blog that I also hope to wear out too once it is safe to be back with friends and family. I am usually not one to wear denims especially white ones because I never felt comfortable in jean material and was always self conscious of my thighs. Yet I have slowly been opening up to denims, finding ones that are comfortable, and fit well. I was very surprised to find two pairs that I like from GAP and they come in petite sizing. As you can see, I decided to style one of the denims with this cute sweater and slipped into my newest pair of loafers. Please excuse my half dying plant. I am still rearranging and buying furniture/decor for the house.

I am honestly very happy to be blogging again because it gives me something to do and enjoy. I thought I would never get back into blogging because I had lost inspiration and did not have the time to put posts together. Every time I tried to get back into it, it felt like a struggle to find consistency and creativity. The pandemic gave me the opportunity to get it all back again. Blogging may not be as popular as vlogging or TikTok anymore but I prefer to express myself this way and not have to follow every single new trend.
