The view was breathtaking up at the Temple of Poseidon. It was a last minute suggestion my mother made the night before and although it is rather far from the rest of the sites in Athens, taking the trip down to see it was worth it. This historical attraction overlooks the Aegean Sea, which makes sense because Poseidon is the god of the sea, and rests on top of a cliff. I wore a maxi skirt not realizing how windy it would be but it was nice for the pictures. It's crazy that autumn is right around the corner already so I am trying to wrap up my summer outfit posts as soon as I can. By the way, hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day weekend!
As you can see, I did not get the chance to post while I was away on vacation with my family but I did post a lot on Instagram! I am now back home but feeling very jet lagged and with a cold. I had such a wonderful time and I can't wait to share all my photos. Here was one of the outfits I wore on our first full day in Athens. I chose to wear an airy top with denim shorts because the weather in Greece is hot, especially with all the site seeing we did. I ended up loosing the had that I literally just bought a few days before our trip because it flew off my head at the top of the Acropolis. Just my luck, but I ended up buying a new one.
Originally, I was stuck on figuring out what to pair my new python leggings with until I randomly found this top to make the outfit more flattering. Then, I coincidentally had studded boots to match! The photos came out better than I thought so props to my photographer. I am so excited to go to Greece this coming Saturday, on the 9th, and if you want to join me on my adventures, be sure to follow my Instagram @aetherlily. I will do my best to make a few blog posts and videos so watch out for those too! I know the days are going to fly by fast but I will be making the best of it.
Thank you for the comments on my last post! I will reply back to you all so be sure to leave your links.
Happy 1st of August, everyone! I honestly wish there was a faster way for my to edit photos and publish posts so when I am on-the-go so I don't have to go crazy and get frustrated over how slow the process takes me. I recently discovered eShakti, a website that allows you to buy customized clothing. I had the chance to choose out this dress and send my measurements along with it! It came out very pretty. The skirt was very snug but the top was loose. I think it is because I estimated on my chest measurements so make sure you take the time to use a measuring tape when sending them your measurements. Overall, the quality is great and I plan to take it to Greece with me! I paired it with one of my favorite colorful necklaces and my most recent shoe purchase. There are a lot of things I want to get done before I leave for Greece but I hope to get at least one or two more outfits posts in before then.
