How to Wear a Tweed Dress

How to Wear Tweed in April
Banana Republic in Tweed

I am so excited to share this campaign I did with Banana Republic! Having the opportunity to work with well-known brands is an achievement for me because it lets me know that they are aware of my blog and like my style as much as I like their products. The dress is not out in stores yet but it will be soon! However, you can find it on the Banana Republic website. What I favor about this dress is the tweed material which is suitable for business wear and how the bottom of the dress flares out. This dress is part of Banana Republic's petite section which is perfect for me! I really love it when brands have a petite section because it makes my life easier instead of having to dig through all their apparel to find something that fits me. Do you ever encounter this problem?

Although this dress is in their petite section, I still believe it works for more than one body shape. Since the dress is smaller at the waist and flares out, it can accentuate curves yet still remain modest simultaneously. This dress can also be worn for different occasions. I can see myself wearing this for work if I want to dress up, for a dinner party, for a business meeting, for a Saturday brunch, or for a holiday party. Usually tweed is worn during the winter season but the weather is still quite cold here in New Jersey so I still find it appropriate to wear for spring. I find it even chillier because often gets windy living by the ocean. The nice thing is you can brighten the look with just some accessories such as this statement chain bracelet and a pair of heeled sandals. Check out their cuffs in the jewelry and accessories section! I love buying them because since they are adjustable, they fit perfectly on my wrists.
