I remember when I first started my blog and more than half of my outfit photos used to be in front of a blank white wall in the dining room of my old home. Blogging was much simpler then and people mainly focused on your outfit rather than the pretty background behind the outfit or where you have been traveling. Now that everyone is quarantining themselves, many bloggers are getting creative inside their homes. I have been exploring my home and testing out the lighting in each room. Not having much furniture at the moment gives me a lot of empty space to work with. I got all dressed (make up and all because I needed to feel pretty since staying at home all day every day while dressed like a slob has been driving me a little crazy) because Dillon and I wanted to get some air. We wanted to get some lunch and thought we should help support small businesses by picking up some take out from a local restaurant. No worries, we did our best to stay safe and actually stayed in our car for curbside pick up. I am glad we did because it was delicious.
The weather was gloomy and rainy so I wore one of my favorite hooded coats. It is an old bargain purchase from Anthropologie and it is beginning to pill but I love it. Not the most practical for the rain but it is absolutely comfortable. I am wearing mostly darker pieces for this gloomy day, steering away from my white streak yet still keeping consistent with my neutral for the most part. The Michael Kors boots are my latest purchase being I discovered them this year. I realize that finding a pair of leather boots is difficult when you are petite as most will swallow up your legs but I like these because the calf diameter is smaller than most knee-high boots and the height lands below my knee. What is also unique about them is that the zipper is on the outside of the leg rather than inside.
