Sticking Out the Last Days of Winter

It has been a long time coming but I am slowly gathering some inspiration to bring this blog back to life. I have been working hard and planning my next couple of posts so I can keep up with consistency as the online world has made it slightly more difficult for one to stay relevant. I can not believe how much time has flown by and I am so grateful to anyone who is still following this blog. If you are new, welcome to my website and please stick around as I am looking forward to sharing my content that may interest you. Throughout the years, my style has evolved. As I grew older and began a nine to five job in the medical profession, I become less daring in my fashion choices. I wanted to look more mature and have a cleaner aesthetic yet still have a unique style that says it is me. Because I am petite, I find it difficult at times to find clothes that fit me but I am become more aware of the petite-friendly brands out there. I am also trying to be more conscious of my purchase decisions. I am trying to limit or avoid my fast fashion purchases and instead stick with eco-friendly and/or sustainable brands. I have stopped purchasing for inexpensive places like Forever 21, Cotton On, Charlotte Russe, etc. Although I do not think I can honestly let go of my love for designer handbags but I think slowly transitioning into conscious clothing decisions is a start. If you are on the same boat, let me know and leave a comment below!

Today, I am sharing some of the cozy pieces I have been wearing over the winter. I have started wearing pants more often over leggings and Loft has these comfortable petite corduroy pants that I also purchased in another color. The pants are sold out but I found a similar one that is currently on sale for under $25 so check it out before it is gone! The sweater I am wearing is old and the bag It is finally getting warmer but the days still get chilly. I went out to run the last of my errands in this outfit because I plan to stay indoors for some time while the coronavirus is going around. Please spread the message everyone that it is important not to panic and not to overstock on items you do not need so it may go to those who really do need it. Wash your hands for 20 seconds or sing the A-B-C's in your head. Understand that although you may be able to withstand the virus, others around you may not have as strong of an immune system as you and you may be spreading your germs to those around you if you are not careful. I work in the healthcare field and I believe spreading this awareness is so important in order to prevent this pandemic from getting any worse.
